the photo on the right is a portrait of adele bloch-bauer, a viennese aristocrat, by one of my favourite painters and artists, gustav klimt. it recently was sold for a record sum of $135m, and guess who it was bought by? this guy. anyway, ain't it pretty? i've been a fan of his work since i've laid eyes on his more famous piece 'der kiss', and this one is quite brilliant as well.
